NewsCanoes & kayaks – feet in the water !

This summer, come and discover the magnificent waterways of the region by taking advantage of the numerous possibilities for renting canoes, kayaks and paddles. You have two choices, depending on your desires, the gorges of the Cèze or those of the Ardèche.

The least far away is the Cèze river with “Cap Canoë” located in St Ambroix (about 15 minutes) which proposes you courses from Saint-Victor-de-Malcap of 4 km, 8 km or 12 km, in canoe or kayak. To discover the Cèze River, you can also contact “Cèze Canoës” located in Goudargues (about 30 minutes away), which offers canoe, kayak or paddle courses of 5 km, 7 km, 12 km or 19 km for the more athletic (19 km course in canoe & kayak only).

To discover the gorges of Ardèche you will have to go to Vallon Pont d’Arc (located at approximately 35 minutes) where several nautical bases are installed. Among these bases you have “Canoyak”, which has the particularity to be authorized to take in charge your children of less than 7 years if needed. They offer canoe and kayak trips, but also bivouacs and night descents. You can also contact “Loulou bateaux” which offers canoeing, canyoning and caving or “Canoë-Ardèche” which offers canoeing, but also canyoning, via ferrata, caving and climbing. With this wide choice of possibilities, you will have enough to satisfy your desires of sports and amusements while discovering magnificent places of the region.
