Article 1 – SCOPE OF GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
These terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made with Concepta Senium Exploitation France SASU and on the website https://www.domainedesbarons.com/. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the Parc Résidentiel de Loisirs du Domaine des Barons de la Chasse (“Parc du DBC”) and its customers.
They do not apply to residents who own their accommodation and who have concluded a specific contract with the operator.
Each customer acknowledges having read these general conditions prior to any reservation of a stay, for themselves and any person participating in the stay.
In accordance with the law in force, the present general terms and conditions are made available to all customers prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of stays. They can also be obtained upon written request to the establishment’s head office.
As the Parc du DBC is a residential leisure park, all residents must be able to provide proof of a fixed home address (with the exception of wardens); this proof can be requested by the prefectural services through the manager.
Each customer staying on the residential leisure park undertakes not to infringe on the rights of other residents or other customers staying on the residential leisure park, nor on the purpose of the building, the occupation by each of his plot of land must be made with due diligence, so as not to interfere directly or indirectly with the smooth running or tranquillity of the Park du DBC.
Article 2 – CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION
2.1 RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made by telephone, by mail or by internet on the website https://www.domainedesbarons.com/.
All reservations must be accompanied by a payment (the deposit) including:
The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the Parc du DBC, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt either of the reservation contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online.
The Parc du DBC is free not to accept a reservation request, if it has a legitimate reason (availability, past behaviour … ) and generally speaking, any circumstances likely to interfere with the execution of the reservation made.
The Parc du DBC offers family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, and accommodation has been especially designed for this purpose. The Parc du DBC will favour a family-oriented clientle.
Rental reservations are for strictly personal use only. Under no circumstances can you sub-let or re-assign your reservation without the prior consent of the Parc du DBC.
The provision of the surnames, first names and ages of all persons admitted to stay at the residential leisure park will be requested and communicated at the latest on arrival. For obvious security (swimming pool, possible campsite evacuation…) or health reasons, minors unaccompanied by an adult are not admitted. Any modifications to the file or the reservation must be made IN WRITING.
All rental accommodation is fully equipped. The base rate is for 4 to 7 places, depending on the rental model.
The Parc du DBC reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families who arrive with a number of guests that is greater than the capacity of the accommodation they have rented.
Group reservation
Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations by the same person or by different natural persons but knowing each other and travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered as a group reservation.
The accommodations offered by the Parc du DBC are addressed exclusively to individual customers. For any group reservation request, the Parc du DBC reserves the right to study the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.
2.2 PRICE AND PAYMENT
Our prices include:
Access to the aquatic centre, water and electricity consumption, the equipment necessary for the number of persons corresponding to the selected accommodation category (excluding additional persons), 1 vehicle per pitch and access to non-paying activities.
Our prices do not include:
Additional vehicle, additional tent, additional guests, pets, trailers, day guests, cancellation guarantee, administrative charges, visitor’s tax and household waste contributions. Bed linen and towels and baby kits are available to rent. Accommodation must be left completely clean (cleaned, crockery washed, covers folded and bin emptied), otherwise a cleaning charge of 100 Euros will be billed to the customer. A deposit of 450 Euros for the accommodation must be put down on arrival and will be returned on departure, with any necessary sums deducted from the deposit for repairs and replacements. A deposit of 100 Euros for cleaning must be paid on arrival and will be returned on departure, minus any cleaning charges deemed necessary. These deposits are taken by pre-authorisation from your bank card on the day of your arrival.
Visitor taxes are indicated in euros, including VAT. The customer’s attention is drawn to the fact that visitor taxes are not included in the price. For rental reservations: all reservations are nominative and cannot be re-assigned. Rental only becomes effective after our agreement and after receipt of the total amount due for the stay and reservation charges.
Visitor tax has been introduced by the Communauté de Communes d’Uzès. This tax must be collected by the Parc du DBC on behalf of the Communauté de Communes d’Uzès.
The visitor tax total is not included in the rates and will be collected per person over the age of 18 and per day, for stays taking place during the legal period of collection.
30% of the total cost of the stay is requested on reservation, and the remaining sum 30 days before arrival.
For any delays about which we have not been previously informed, the rental/plot becomes available 10 hours after the date of arrival specified on the reservation contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the reservation will be cancelled and the sums already paid to the residential leisure park will be considered to belong to the operator.
2.3 CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
No reduction will be made in the event of late arrivals or early departures.
The Parc du DBC is in no way responsible for transporting its customers and cannot be held responsible in the event that customers are unable to reach the Parc du DBC, whatever the reason, even in the event of force majeure. In this event, no refund will be made.
The Customer may request to change their stay (dates, type of accommodation) by sending a written request to the Parc du DBC (letter or email) subject to availability and possibilities. No reservations can be moved to the following season. In the absence of any change to a reservation, the customer’s stay will take place under the initial conditions of the reservation or the customer may cancel their stay in accordance with the conditions of the cancellation insurance.
Any request to extend the duration of their stay is subject to availability and current rates will be applied.
Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions of cancellation and interruption of stay.
2.4 CANCELLATION
Any reservation that has not been paid for in full in compliance with the terms and conditions of sale will be cancelled. For any cancellation 30 days before the start of the stay, the totality of the sums already paid will be reimbursed.
In the event of a cancellation by the Parc du DBC, the sums received for the stay will be reimbursed. This cancellation will not lead to the payment of damages.
2.5 RETRACTATION
In accordance with article L.121-19 of the French Consumer Code, the Parc du DBC informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a given date, or for a given period, is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day period of retraction.
The legal provisions relating to the right of retraction in the case of remote sales provided for in the Consumer Code are not applicable to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).
In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, you do not have the right to retract.
This means that for any booking made at the Parc du DBC, the customer does not benefit from the right of retraction.
2.6 CANCELLATION GUARANTEE
The cancellation guarantee is optional and must be paid for in addition to the rental at the same time as the deposit. We recommend that you take out this cancellation guarantee. In contract offers you a cancellation guarantee which means that the sums you have been paid will be reimbursed in the event that you have to cancel your stay or planned departure subject to certain conditions (illness, accident…).
Premium rate incl. taxes: 3% of the insured value.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE CONDITIONS
The guarantee applies if the impediment concerns the customer, their spouse, the persons designated on the rental contract, their ascendants or descendants or those of their spouse, and is caused by one of the following causes only:
All cancellations MUST be notified in writing to the person in charge of your place of stay. TO BENEFIT FROM THE CANCELLATION GUARANTEE, YOU MUST INFORM THE PARC DU DBC OF THE REASON FOR YOUR CANCELLATION BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON THE DAY BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL.
You have a period of 5 days, from the date of cancellation, to send us by recorded delivery the proof (medical certificate, certificate of death or employer certification).
In this event of cancellation of stay before arrival, interruption of stay or postponed arrival and whatever the cause, illness, accident or unforeseen event, the tenant will be required to pay the balance of the reservation and no refund will be granted.
Article 3 – SECURITY DEPOSIT
The equipment included in the rental is listed on an inventory. The tenant is requested to check the inventory on arrival and to inform reception before midday of the following day of any anomaly. A security deposit of €450 (€265 for rental, €35 for lost gate remote control, €50 for lost rental key) will be requested on your arrival for all accommodation rentals. The security deposit is not cashed and will be returned following the inventory of fixtures prior to the tenant’s departure after deduction of the indemnities retained for possible damage caused and/or missing items. The tenant is responsible for cleaning the accommodation. At the end of the stay, an inventory of fixtures in the rental accommodation is carried out. Accommodation must be left perfectly clean both inside and in the immediate surroundings. If this it not the case, a €100 cleaning charge will be applied.
Article 4 – RENTAL INSURANCE
The customer must check with his insurance company that their Home Insurance contract and its warranty conditions include holiday accommodation. Should this not be the case, the tenant is required to take out insurance against the risks inherent to their occupation Namely: accident, theft, loss, damage that they could cause in the rented accommodation or in the Parc du DBC, through their own doing or by those accompanying them.
Customers will have to justify their insurance at the first requisition.
They will not be able to exercise any recourse against the manager in the event of theft, burglary or criminal acts of which they may be victims in the rented premises or in the common areas of the Parc du DBC and must make it their personal business to obtain any insurance in this regard In the case of bicycle rentals or loans, customers are required to take out insurance against theft, loss or damage.
The customer immediately informs the insurance company, and the Parc du DBC at the same time, of any loss or damage occurring in the rented premises, failing which the customer shall be held personally liable for failure to report such loss or damage in a timely manner.
During your stay :
It is up to the customer to take out insurance: the customer is responsible for their personal objects (bicycles, etc.). The village declines all responsibility in the event of any incident falling under the civil liability of the customer. All customers must comply with the provisions of the house rules, which they will read and sign on arrival. In the case of a first visit, two hours of training/explanations will be carried out the day after arrival. Each tenant will participate. Each tenant in title is responsible for the any trouble or disturbances caused by the people staying with them or visiting them.
Article 5 – ANIMALS
Some animals are admitted inside the rental accommodation, but not disturb other people under any circumstances.
If authorised, animals are accepted, with the exception of 1st and 2nd category dogs, subject to a fee which is payable at the time of reservation, within the limit of ONE animal per lodging and under certain conditions. They are not allowed in the play areas or into the buildings.
Animals being walked must be on a lead and must leave no “visible traces” behind them. They must not be left unattended in the absence of their owner.
Dogs are not permitted, even on a lead, around the swimming pool, the toilet blocks, the bergerie, Club House and terrasse.
You must inform us if you are coming with an animal when you make your reservation. The dog’s vaccination record and its tattoo number must be presented on arrival at the Parc du DBC.
Article 6 – RULES & REGULATIONS
As required by law, you must comply with our rules and regulations which are displayed at reception. You will also be given a copy which you must sign.
In addition, the use of candles (for light or for insect repellent purposes) is forbidden on the site.
Article 7 – ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The entrance gate of the Parc du DBC is open from 7.30 AM to 10 PM.
The reception is open:
Between the 15/05 and the 15/09 from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 4 PM to 7 PM.
During other periods from Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM.
You may arrive between 4 PM and 7 PM for rental accommodation.
All customers must present themselves at reception on arrival. Change-over day is Saturday.
Rental accommodation: on the day of your arrival, you may arrive from 4 PM and you will be required to put down a deposit when you collect your keys.
The lodges and mobile homes are allocated depending on availability and can be changed at any moment until you are handed the keys.
In the event that you will arrive after 7 PM, please inform the Parc du DBC. Arrivals for rental accommodation is after 4 PM and departures before 10 AM.
If you are not entirely satisfied with the cleanliness of your rental, please inform us on your arrival and before you settle into the accommodation. No claims are possible after you have settled into the accommodation. If you are not entirely satisfied with the general state of the rental accommodation, please inform us at most 24 hours after arrival to allow us to find a solution.
Rental accommodation: on the day of departure indicated on your contract, you most leave the accommodation before 10 AM.
The accommodation must be left perfectly clean, and the inventory may be checked. You will be billed for any broken or damaged items, and for cleaning the premises should that be necessary. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay after deduction of the compensation for any damage noted in the inventory of fixtures at the end of your stay. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if the costs are higher than the amount of the deposit.
If the accommodation has not been cleaned prior to your departure, a cleaning charge of a minimum of €100 will be requested.
For all late departures, you may be charged for an additional day at the applicable rate. Any key returns or pitch departures after 10 AM will result in an additional night being charged. If you wish to extend you stay, please inform us at least 24 hours before the planned departure date.
If you cannot be present for the inventory of fixtures at departure, your deposit will be returned by post.
Animals are accepted, provided they are clean and kept on a lead within the Parc du DBC and are up-to-date with compulsory vaccinations.
Other conditions
No installations (tent), vehicle or additional person is accepted on the rental pitches without the prior agreement of the Parc du DBC. Recharging electric or hybrid vehicle batteries is forbidden. For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants must not exceed the listed capacity for the type of accommodation. In the event of non-compliance on arrival, the Parc DBC reserves the right to refuse access to the accommodation. The use of any additional electrical equipment must be approved in arrival by the Parc du DBC manager. Parents are responsible for their children throughout the Parc du DBC. We do not accept minors (under 18s) if they are not accompanied by their parents. Day visitors must ensure that they pay the “visitor” fee.
Article 8 – ACCOMMODATION CHARACTERTICS
The plans and photos of the accommodation are for illustrative purposes only. The layout and characteristics of the rooms may vary from one model to another. Please refer to the accommodation description on the https://www.domainedesbarons.com/.
Given the diversity of the range on offer at the Parc du DBC, there are several differences in terms of configuration, age and decoration of accommodation. May we also remind you that any request regarding a specific orientation or situation is an additional service. When you make your reservation, it is possible to specify your pitch preferences and we will do everything we can to meet your needs. This is not a contractual guarantee, however. In addition, emergency works carried out by the Parc du DBC or by public authorities which may disturb our customers, cannot be a cause of criticism. Please be aware that at the beginning and end of the season, some services and events may be closed (request further information).
Aquatic centre
Swimming trunks must be worn in the swimming pool (clothing and cover-up swimwear are forbidden for hygiene reasons). May we remind you that swimming pools can be dangerous. Young children are required to wear specially designed swimming nappies to comply with hygiene standards. Children who do not know how to swim MUST wear armbands.
Day visitors do not have access to the swimming pool for insurance reasons. Access to the aquatic spaces is expressly forbidden outside opening hours.
After-sales service
We cannot be held responsible for fortuitous events, force majeure, climatic events, legal decisions, which would disrupt, interrupt or prevent the stay and events. In the event of a problem in the rented accommodation, you must place your complaint IN SITU within 24 hours (in particular on the utensils, the state and cleanliness of the accommodation). After this time no complaint will be taken into account and you will be held responsible at the time of departure for any damage or missing items. Any other complaint concerning a stay must be sent to us in writing by registered letter within 10 days after the end of the stay. Our quality department will then deal with your complaint within 3 months following receipt of your letter.
Article 9 – DISPUTE
If despite our very best efforts to satisfy you, you still have complaints, we request that you immediately inform the responsible member of staff at reception who will do their very best to provide a response. Any complaints relating to non-compliance of services with contractual undertakings should be reported to the Parc du DBC by registered letter or by email.
Mediation
In the event of a dispute and after having referred the matter to Customer Service by sending a registered letter to the Parc du DBC, any Customer may refer the matter to a consumer mediator, within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint
Article 10 – PARC DU DBC RESPONSIBILITY
Le Parc du DBC cannot be held responsible, because of communication by its partners or by any third party, for photographs for which they have declared to have the rights, for false, misleading or erroneous information which may have appeared in the catalogues or on the sites of partners, and in particular for the presentation photos, the qualifiers, the activities and leisure events, the services and the dates of operation. The customer expressly recognises that the Parc du DBC cannot be held responsible for any typographical errors in the brochure or on the website. All the photos and texts used in the brochure or on the Parc du DBC are non-contractual. They are for information purposes only. It may be that certain activities or installations on offer are removed, in particular for climatic reasons or in the event of force majeure as defined by the French courts.
Our prices are liable to change depending on economic and business conditions. Only the rental contract confirming the reservations is considered to be a contractual document.
The Parc du DBC declines all responsibility for damage to the customer’s equipment that would be of its own making; customer’s must have insurance for their equipment in terms of civil liability (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC…). The Parc du DBC declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss, fire, bad weather, damage of any kind whatsoever during or following a stay, breakdown or decommissioning of the technical equipment. Similarly, the Parc du DBC may not be held liable in the event of injury, illness … of the customer, during the practice of sports activities or otherwise. Management is not responsible for items left at reception. No refund is possible if the swimming pool is closed for reasons beyond our control (bad weather, water quality etc…).
Article 11 – Image
By accepting these Terms and Conditions of sale, the customer expressly authorises the Parc du DBC to photograph or film them free of charge during their stay and to use the photos, videos and sounds on all media for a duration of 5 years. This authorisation also applied to all people sharing accommodation with the customer. The aim of this authorisation is to ensure the national and international promotion of the Parc du DBC on its website, its brochures, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn its sales presentations and in tourist guides.
Article 12 – PRIVACY POLICY – EUROPEAN DATA PROTECTION REGULATION
The personal information that we collect is gathered by means of forms thanks to interaction between you and our website. Their purpose is to provide answers to your questions, the creation and monitoring of your stay, billing your stay, establishing statistics and the creation of targeted advertising. By booking a vacation stay at the Parc du DBC and unless otherwise specified, you agree to be sent a satisfaction survey. Your answers and comments are strictly confidential, intended for internal use only and not published In general, all personal information you provide is for the exclusive use of Parc DBC. It is confidential and treated as such. Under no circumstances will it be communicated to third parties. This personal information is kept in a secure environment. However, since no mechanism offers maximum security, there is always a degree of risk when using the Internet to transmit personal information Our site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to store user preferences, store information for things such as shopping baskets and to supply anonymised monitoring data to third party applications such as Google Analytics. These terms and conditions are subject to French law and French jurisdictions.
