The Occitanie region offers a wide range of magnificent spots where to learn or practice rock climbing. Among these, the cliffs of Seynes in the east of Alès, in the department Gard (30), France. Seynes is located at the foot of the mountain “Mont Bouquet” which you can admire from your reserved holiday lodge accommodation at our parc. This climbing site, with more than 300 routes, is one of the best reliefs in France. Warning ! To access the cliffs of Seynes, cars parked at the end of the old road of Ales below the sector “Nouveau Monde” must bring a sticker that can be downloaded (www.escalade-clarensac.fr). The sticker has to be placed behind your windshield. If you don’t respect this, you risk to pay a fine of 135,00 €

• Collias, a magnificent site in the wild gorges of the Gardon where a river flows below, is an alternative for rock climbing fans.
• The Mourgues rock in Méjannes-le-Clap, the cliff of Pont Saint-Nicolas and many other various climbing sites are in this area !
